When your “hard” is TOO hard

Have you ever felt like your “hard” is TOO HARD!? Do you have an emotional imbalance that seems too difficult to escape from? Do you have so much pain running through your body, you don’t think you’ll ever get relief? Do you have a mind/heart stronghold that needs letting go of? Is your list of health issues so long, it seems easier to just keep adding to them, instead of working to get them off the list? Or, maybe you ARE working on healing, but it seems like its just never going to happen for you.

Y’all…been there, done that, DOING that!

I truly think God has allowed me to go through my health trials so that I can come out on the other side helping others overcome them too. We certainly cannot do this life alone, let alone conquer obstacles alone. If you ever come across a doctor, counselor or health coach that is 100% perfect and healthy…they are lying to you. We humans ALL have something that needs healing.

On my doTERRA journey I have overcome a LOOOONG list of health obstacles. I’m so thankful for that journey. Don’t worry, Im not there yet…just like you. I’m not hear to lecture. I’m here to say… HEY YOU. YOU ARE NOT ALONE. I may have overcome those obstacles, but boy do I have a DOOZY to overcome now.

So here I am, for the millionth time in my life, trying to lose weight. It is NOT FUN. It’s hard. It sucks. It doesn’t taste good! Its exhausting. It’s painful. Did I mention it’s hard? SO…DARN…HARD. It’s a huge stronghold in my life that I am just now figuring out how to conquer…FINALLY! I grew up learning poor habits and developing those habits in to an awful relationship with food. Recently, I have had to figure out how to overcome this stronghold. I’m needing to fully rely on a strength that is not mine (thank you Jesus for giving me EVERYTHING I need to be successful at this). I have to rely partly on motivational essential oils that get my brain moving and ready to face the day. Relying on supplements that are giving me energy and making me stronger has helped tremendously.

  1. Make the choice to start, and have grace with yourself when you mess up.

  3. Find someone who knows how to help, encourages you, and will see you through gracious eyes…(see me jumping up and down waving at you!).

  4. Invest in your health. You are worth it, and getting healthy the RIGHT way…isn’t always free.

  5. Find the root cause. Get help with symptoms to make your journey easier, but find the root cause of the issue. It’s either an internal health issue, or an internal heart issue. You got this!
